Preparation

1. Toast the burger buns in the oven or toaster until golden brown.
2. Knead the unsalted ground beef well with your hands and use the burger press to form four burger patties from the ground meat mixture.
3. Fry the patties on both sides in the pan with a little oil and season with salt and pepper.
4. Place the burgers on a baking tray and top with cheese. Place in the oven for a minute to melt the cheddar cheese.
5. Spread mustard on the bottom of the buns and ketchup or barbecue sauce on the top. Top the burger with lettuce, patty, tomatoes and onions.
6. It goes well with wedges, fries or a crisp salad.
