Bread knife serrated Artesano 22 cm | 8.5 in.
Art. 110134The bread knife was traditionally hand-forged and precision ground according to Solingen knife art. Due to the manufacturing from one piece, a long life is guaranteed.
The knife is perfectly balanced and ice-hardened, which gives the cutting edge a particularly long life and ensures high resistance to corrosion.
The selected olive wood handle from Italy is naturally hard, durable and particularly comfortable to hold. Due to its individual grain, each knife is unique and therefore something very special. In addition, the high-quality end cap contains an embossed RÖSLE logo.
The bread knife is particularly suitable for cutting bread, rolls and baguettes. Due to the double-sided serrated edge, a precise and straight cut is possible even on bread with a hard crust.
Safety instructions:
Please ensure that knives are always kept and used out of the reach of children to ensure their safety.
Knife Steel X50CrMOV15:
X50CrMOV15 Alloying components:
- 0.50% carbon higher hardness
- 15% chromium for high corrosion resistance
- up to 0.8% molybdenum additional corrosion protection
- up to 0.2% vanadium higher wear resistance
Definition - Molybdenum:
This is a 5th period transition metal. The high strength, tough and hard metal has a silvery white luster. Of all the 5th period elements, it has the highest melting point, which is 2,623 °C. Like its heavy homologue tungsten, it is not attacked by non-oxidizing acids (including hydrofluoric acid). For this reason, molybdenum is used in large quantities for the production of acid-resistant stainless steels and nickel materials. Molybdenum is used for hardening and for preventing temper embrittlement of steel
Definition - Vanadium:
Also obsoletely vanadium, is a chemical element with the symbol V and atomic number 23. It is a steel-gray, bluish shimmering transition metal that is very soft in the pure state. The melting point is 1,910 °C.
X50CrMOV15 is a rust and acid resistant, very hard blade steel. Unlike 18/10 CrNi steel, this alloy is 100% nickel-free, which is suspected of causing allergic reactions. The special ingredients in this blade steel strengthen the protection against corrosion and pitting while increasing the strength of the steel.
So with X50CrMoV15, you get a blade steel that is very robust and wear resistant while remaining very corrosion resistant and easy to maintain. Knives made of X50CrMoV15 have a fine grind and long-lasting sharpness. In addition, such a knife can be very easily resharpened later if necessary.
